TIME Magazine asked if Kim Kardashian or Caitlyn Jenner should be 'Person of the Year'...

And people weren’t impressed. Don’t worry, they aren’t the only two nominees.

IT WON’T BE long before the TIME person of the year is revealed.

The magazine is accepting votes on the website in a this-or-that format, but ultimately, the decision will be made by editors.

A quick flip through the voting system shows the likes of Adele v Swifty, Viola Davis v Jennifer Lawrence, Ben Carson v Donald Trump, and Tim Cook v Mark Zuckerberg.

But it was this choice tweet from TIME that upset a lot of people.

The tweet posed ONE of the questions on the voting system (Kim v Caitlyn) and well, pray for their mentions

People seemed to think that this was the final two

It’s OK guys, calm down. Scott still has a chance

The TIME person of the year aims to profile someone who ”for better or for worse…has done the most to influence the events of the year”.

It has previously gone to George Bush, Mark Zuckerberg, Pope Francis, the Ebola Fighters, and even… you.

The winner of the reader polls will be announced on December 7, followed by TIME’s Person of the Year on December 9.

Until then…
