1. Former Fianna Fáil Minister Pat Carey has spoken openly about being gay on RTÉ’S ‘Today with Sean O’Rourke’ programme. He has said he “didn’t have the courage” to speak about his sexuality before.
2. A 28-year-old man has been arrested following a hoax call about a man jumping into the River Suir in Waterford.
3. Irish Water has said it will be reducing water pressure in localised areas as part of “painstaking” efforts to reduce leakage in the system.
4. GMC Sierra, the company involved in the installation of water meters, has been shown to cover the logo on their vans in some instances.
5. Two more people have been arrested this morning over last November’s Jobstown protest.
