Mary you’re clearly an insensitive person. There is a time and place for your lefty, tree-hugging opinions and this is neither time nor place. Let’s focus on this sad story and take a moment to cherish our children and spare a thought for this little child’s parents and not your opinions on mass immigration!!

Absolutely tragic. I sincerely hope there’s no muppets on here any time soon to blame the parents, like there always seems to be with this type of story about children.

Heartbreaking for all involved. Thoughts & prayers are with the family of this little angel. And also with the person who was driving the vehicle – absolutely tragic. Fair play to the emergency services who tried their best. This is horrific for the whole community who knows this family. RIP little angel and I hope and pray that the family, neighbours, friends and muintir an Ceathrú Rua go léir find the strength to stay strong in the midst of this tragedy. God bless. X
