Man jumps off Tower Bridge for a dare, ends up in hospital

Which was always going to happen.

SHAH FAISAL SHINWARI is a YouTuber.

Going by the name Carnage, he winds people up and generally acts the maggot. Last week, a commenter dared him to jump off London’s Tower Bridge, a fall of about 10 metres.

Of course Shinwari, being the kind of person that does these things, accepted.

(It should be noted that at no point will this writer accept such a challenge from the commenters.)

The result – he fell awkwardly and almost died.

It being a large fall and the Thames having a strong current, this is monumentally bad idea. Shinwari got carried away by the current and had to be rescued by RNLI lifeboats, whose operators pumped his stomach.

He told Metro that it was “the stupidest idea ever” and asked others not to copy his stunt.

In his defence, he is donating the money from the ensuing media frenzy to a good cause.
