Traffic problems leaving EP

THERE ARE SERIOUS TRAFFIC delays for people leaving the Electric Picnic site this morning due to surface water from last night’s heavy rain. AA Roadwatch says it’s taking around an hour for motorists to leave the carpark and get onto the main road. Traffic is congested around Strandbally, but there are no major delays once cars get onto the M7 Dublin-Limerick road or M8 Dublin – Cork road. The AA advises drivers to take care on the wet roads today.
