Trains cancelled and delayed due to mechanical fault

A number of Heuston and Connolly services have been affected.

A NUMBER OF Irish Rail services have been affected by mechanical issues this morning.

Iarnród Éireann said the 8.37am Dún Laoghaire to Dublin Connolly train has been cancelled.

Meanwhile, there are delays to some Heuston services due to an earlier mechanical issue on the 7.30am Heuston to Portlaoise train.
