NTMA to sell €500m of T-bills at auction this week

The agency plan to sell the bills on Thursday 20 June, 2013 and offer a three-month maturity on them.

THE NATIONAL TREASURY Management Agency (NTMA) has announced that another €500 million worth of Treasury Bills will be up for auction this week.

The agency, planning to sell the bills on Thursday 20 June, 2013, are offering a three-month maturity on the Treasury Bills, similar to the ones auctioned last month.

In May, the NTMA sold the bills at an annualised interest rate of 0.12 per cent – lower than the 0.19 per cent the bills were sold for in April.

The auction opens at 09.30am and closed at 10.30am.
