Tuberculosis case confirmed at Griffith College in Dublin

One case of TB has been confirmed at the Dublin 8 campus.

A CASE OF tuberculosis has been confirmed at Griffith College in Dublin.

The college, located on the South Circular Road says it is working with the HSE to fully implement best practice precautionary measures. It has also stated that it is not being treated as an outbreak.

TheJournal.ie understands that the HSE is due to visit the campus to carry out screening at the college. The affected student is receiving the appropriate medical attention.

An open evening due to take place at the college this evening is going ahead and exams will take place as scheduled next week.
