Twitter in talks to buy TweetDeck: report

WSJ report this evening suggests two companies are in ‘advanced talks’ for a $50m deal.

TWITTER IS CURRENTLY engaged in negotiations to buy TweetDeck for around $50m, according to a report this evening in the Wall Street Journal.

The two companies are already involved in an advertising revenue-sharing deal.

TweetDeck helps Twitter users manage their messages.

Earlier today, there were suggestions that Twitter was not planning to base its new European offices in Dublin, but was instead looking to a west London site.
