Two arrested after nighttime armed robbery in Dublin

TWO MEN were arrested near an off-licence last night after an attempted armed robbery on the Botanic Road in Dublin last night. A panic alarm was sounded, Newstalk reports, and Gardaí arrived to find three men inside with the door locked. Gardaí broke down the door but the raiders escaped through the rear; two of the three men were arrested shortly afterwards. One employee was badly beaten and was brought to hospital.
