Two arrested over late-night burglary in Blanchardstown

Cash and an imitation firearm was recovered when the two were arrested following a robbery at a retail unit on Main Street.

A MAN AND WOMAN have been arrested after a late-night burglary in Blanchardstown in west Dublin.

The man, aged in his late teens, was arrested by Gardaí conducting follow-up investigations after the burglary at a retail unit on Main Street at around 11:40pm last night.

A quantity of cash was seized at that time.

A follow-up search was later undertaken at a house in Briarswood at around 2am, when a female was arrested and an imitation firearm.

Both are being held at Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939
