Two arrested in connection with Phibsborough armed robbery

Gardaí have arrested two men and recovered all cash from a robbery in Phibsborough, Dublin, this afternoon.

TWO MALES HAVE been arrested following an armed robbery in Phibsborough, Dublin, earlier today.

At approximately 4.25pm hours two males armed with knives entered a financial institution on the Phibsborough Road and threatened staff before escaping on foot with an amount of cash.

Gardai attended the scene and two men aged in their 40s were arrested a short distance away. All of the money taken was recovered.

Both men are currently detained under section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Mountjoy Garda Station.

The investigation is ongoing.
