Two arrested in Harold's Cross shooting probe

A man and woman have been arrested in Dublin in connection with the shooting of a man on September 20.

GARDAÍ IN DUBLIN have made two arrests as part of an ongoing investigation into a shooting incident at Harold’s Cross last week.

A man and woman, both in their 30s, were arrested this morning in the South Dublin area.

Gardaí said they are being detained at Terenure and Rathmines Garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

The shooting occurred on September 20 at a lane-way in Rosary Park near Harold’s Cross Road.

A man in his late 20s sustained injuries after being shot several times. He was taken to St. James’ Hospital for treatment.
