Two arrested over Cork drug seizure

The men were arrested following a Garda search of a house in Cork City yesterday.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested in Cork in connection with the seizure of cannabis yesterday.

Gardaí in the Cork Divisional Drug Unit carried out an operation last night during which a house in Dillons Cross was searched.

Cannabis with an estimated street value of about €250,000 was uncovered in the raid.

The arrested men, who are aged in their 30s and 40s, are being detained under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.
