Two arrested over fatal north Dublin shooting

Michael Kelly was shot dead on 15 September 2011 in Clongriffin.

TWO MEN HAVE been arrested by gardaí investigating the fatal shooting of Michael Kelly in Clongriffin near Donaghmede in north Dublin in September 2011.

Kelly, 30, was killed during a shooting at lunchtime on 15 September on Marrsfield Avenue.

A number of shots were reportedly fired during the attack and a post-mortem later showed that two guns were used.

Gardaí arrested two men today in north Dublin in connection with the investigation into Kelly’s death, and are holding them at Ballymun Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939.
