Two arrested over suspected arson attack on elderly woman's home

The men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of arson endangering a life.

TWO MEN WERE arrested earlier today in connection with a suspected arson attack in Ballycastle, Co Antrim.

The men, aged 20 and 21, were arrested on suspicion of arson endangering a life in relation to the incident at the Market Street area of Ballycastle, which occurred at around 12.30am on Saturday 14th April.

It is believed that the attack was on the home of an elderly woman.

Both men have subsequently been released on bail pending further enquiries.
