Two charged following armed post office robbery in Wicklow

They were arrested a short time after the robbery yesterday by gardaí.

TWO MEN HAVE been charged in connection with an armed post office robbery in Wicklow.

The two males, aged 20 and 21, are due to appear before the District Court this morning.

The incident occurred shortly before 3pm yesterday afternoon.

Two males entered Enniskerry Post Office with weapons and threatened those inside.

However, gardaí say they left empty handed, and were arrested a short time later near the scene.
