Two men due in court over death of 27-year-old in Navan

Christopher Nevin was beaten and stabbed last week.

TWO MEN ARE due in court this morning charged in relation to the death of Christopher Nevin in Co Meath.

The 27-year-old died after being assaulted at around 2.15pm last Thursday.

It’s understood he was stabbed with a large blade and was also badly beaten in the attack.

He was in cardiac arrest when paramedics arrived at the scene and was rushed to hospital, but died shortly afterwards.

Two men in their early 20s were arrested in Navan on Monday.

The men are due to appear at a sitting of Navan District Court at 10.30 this morning.
