Two men injured in Co Tipperary shooting

The men, aged 22 and 20, were shot in the Townpark area of Templemore, and are being treated in Clonmel.

TWO MEN in their twenties are recovering in hospital after an overnight shooting incident in Co Tipperary.

The incident occurred at around 2am in the morning, when the two men were shot in the Townpark area of Templemore.

The men, aged 22 and 20, were taken to South Tipperary General Hospital in Clonmel, where they continue to receive treatment for their injuries.

It is thought that neither has sustained life-threatening injuries.

The scene of the shooting has been sealed off pending a technical examination, and investigations are continuing though no arrests have yet been made.
