Two men stabbed at Terenure house

One man remains in critical condition in hospital; gardaí have arrested one person in their inquiries.

GARDAÍ ARE INVESTIGATING a double stabbing in Terenure early this morning after officers discovered two injured men at a house at Greenmount Lawns.

One of the men was collapsed outside the house on the porch and had been stabbed in the stomach and chest.

A 26-year-old man with less serious injuries was found inside the house.

Both were taken to St James’ Hospital and the man with less serious injuries was released. The other man remains in critical condition in hospital.

Gardaí say they arrested a 36-year-old man at the scene and are holding him under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.
