Two men in serious condition after Kildare crash this morning

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to come forward.

TWO YOUNG MEN are seriously injured in hospital after a crash in Co Kildare in the early hours of this morning.

Four men aged between 18 and 20 and a juvenile were travelling in a Red Toyota Starlet which hit a ditch and overturned on the Clane to Kilcock Road at Mainham.

It happened at around 2.30am.

Four of the men were taken to Naas General Hospital, two with serious injuries and two with minor injuries.

The R407 is currently closed at Mainham to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who travelled the R407 this morning, Thursday 20th August 2015 between 1.45am and 2.45am to contact them at Naas Garda Station on 045 884300, The Garda Confidential Line, 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
