Two teenagers die in Wexford traffic collision

Two 17-year-olds have lost their lives following a single vehicle collision in Wexford in the early hours of this morning.

TWO TEENAGERS HAVE lost their lives in a single vehicle traffic collision in Co Wexford in the early hours of this morning.

The two male occupants of the car were taken to to Wexford General Hospital after the car they were travelling in collided with the pillar of a wall at Coolacarney, Ballindangan, Co Wexford.

The 17-year-old driver of the car was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later. Gardaí have confirmed that the passenger, also 17 years old, has also died.

Gardaí have closed the road to conduct a forensic collision investigation of the scene.
