Two teenagers killed in Offaly crash

Two males aged in their late teen, were fatally injured when the car they were travelling in left the road and collided with a wall in Ferbane, Co Offaly.

TWO TEENAGERS HAVE died this evening following single vehicle crash in Ferbane, Co Offaly.

The crash occurred occurred on the R436 at Rosfaraghan, Ferbane, at approximately 7.30pm.

Gradaí confirmed that two males, aged in their late teens, were fatally injured when the car they were travelling in left the road and collided with a wall. They were both pronounced dead at the scene.

The road is currently closed and Garda forensic collision investigators are at the scene. Local traffic diversions are in place.
