Two women hospitalised after Tipperary crash

One of the women is still being treated for her injuries after yesterday’s accident.

TWO WOMEN WERE injured yesterday when their car went off the road in Tipperary.

One woman in her 50s, who was driving the car, is still in hospital. The passenger, who is in her 80s, was treated for her injuries but has since been released.

The crash occurred yesterday around 4.40pm at Inane, near Roscrea, when their car went off the road and onto a grass verge. The two women were taken by ambulance to Limerick Regional Hospital.

Gardaí carried out a technical examination at the scene, which has since re-opened to traffic. Anyone with information is asked to contact Roscrea garda station on 0505 21700.
