UK police ask for help locating prisoner

Patrick Joyce has breached the terms of his release agreement.

A MAN BELIEVED to have connections with Northern Ireland is on the run from police in England.

Patrick Joyce is wanted by police in Lancashire for prison recall.

The 30-year-old from Morecambe has been wanted since 18 March. In September 2008, he was jailed for six years with an extended licence period of five years for a robbery in Southall.

He was released from prison on licence in August 2010 but has since breached the terms of the arrangement so has been recalled.

Mark Stott from the police intelligence unit has asked the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to the police.

Joyce is described as being about 5 ‘ 11″ tall, of average build with blue eyes and short, light brown hair. He is usually clean shaven and speaks with an Irish accent. He also has connections in Middlesex.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact the Lancashire Constabulary on 0044 412 333 01772.
