WATCH: Massive hair-pulling, face-gouging brawl erupts in Ukrainian parliament

It all started with a bouquet of roses, believe it or not.

A HUGE BRAWL exploded in the Ukrainian parliament this afternoon, after an MP tried to physically drag the prime minister away from his post.

PM Arseniy Yatsenyuk was making a speech in the parliament chamber (Supreme Rada), when a deputy from the president’s party walked up to the rostrum with a bunch of red roses.

After he handed the roses to Yatsenyuk, Oleh Barna took him by the waist, grabbed him between his legs, picking him up, and hauling him away, as the Prime Minister held onto the rostrum.

Barna has been collecting signatures for the resignation of the highly unpopular Yatsenyuk.

In response, dozens of MPs from the Prime Minister’s party rushed to defend him, dragging Barna away, before one MP pummelled him with blows.

In the melee, another member of the Supreme Rada (which, until 2013, included retired World Heavyweight Boxing champion Vitali Klitschko) can be seen pulling Barna’s hair, and gouging at his face.

Barna’s party said later on today that they have expelled him from the parliamentary faction over the incident.
