California police say no sign of active shooter on college campus despite reports

POLICE IN SOUTHERN California have said that they have found no evidence of an active shooter after a college received reports of gunfire on campus.

Staff at the University of Southern California (USC) had warned students to take cover.

Students have received alerts to their phones urging them to take shelter.

However, in the last few minutes, police said they were confident that there was no shooter.
