Valentia search resumes for missing man

Man went missing while fishing on the north of Kerry’s Valentia Island yesterday.

A SEARCH RESUMES this morning for man who went missing while fishing on Valentia Island, Co Kerry yesterday.

A spokesperson for the Coast Guard at Valentia told TheJournal.ie this morning that the search is concentrating on an area around Culloo Head at the north of the island, where the man had been fishing.

“Conditions are good this morning, with good visibility and the wind isn’t too bad,” the spokesperson added.

The missing man was among a group of people who were fishing around Culloo Head late yesterday evening.They raised the alarm when he slipped into the water last night.
