IF THE PAST few days are anything to go by, Ireland’s weather is as changeable as ever.

This hasn’t escaped the notice of these Irish kids, who say Ireland’s “brilliant if you like the rain and the cold”.

As for the weather at the moment, Met Éireann says we can expect it to get cold overnight, with lowest temperatures of one to four degrees. There’ll even be frost in a few places.

Tomorrow, there will be scattered outbreaks of rain and drizzle, but some sunshine will break through across Leinster and east Munster during the afternoon.

As for the week ahead:

It looks like weather systems will affect the country at the start of next week, with cooler conditions developing from the mid week. There is some uncertainty about the evolution of the weather this coming week though.
