Video: Is this a sneak peek of Apple's iPhone 5?

A new back casing for the Apple phone indicates a radical redesign is on the cards.

A NEW VIDEO is purporting to show part of the next generation iPhone’s casing which would indicate a radical redesign of Apple’s ubiquitous phone.

The latest E-Trade Supply video shows some big changes from the current iPhone 4 model with a larger screen, smaller dock and, controversially, a headphone jack located on the bottom and not the top of the device.

The video also notes a smaller SIM card slot and two different colour tones on the back casing.

It’s the kind of design that tallies with pictures that Gizmodo reported on last week.

The launch of the iPhone 5 is likely to come this October and not at the company’s Worldwide Developer Conference next week, according to Slate which notes that the bigger screen would be an indication of an unprecedented step by Apple: taking design cues from smartphones rivals.
