Video shows solar flares along Sun's northern hemisphere

NASA released incredible footage of activity on the Sun.

NASA HAS RELEASED A VIDEO showing small solar flare activity on the Sun.

The images were captured earlier this week over a 48-hour period.

The space agency says that “a large action region” is currently in the northern hemisphere of the Sun:

This larger active region may actually be comprised of four different active regions that are very close to each other forming one large, interconnected active region with multiple magnetic poles.
