Video: Vladimir Putin uncovers 6th-century artefacts during scuba dive

Russia media reports that “to everyone’s utter surprise”, the Russian prime minister discovered the treasures while on an official visit to an archaeological site.

FORMER RUSSIAN president and current prime minister Vladimiar Putin is still working hard at showcasing his many hobbies and abilities.

In his latest image-bolstering publicity stunt, Putin visited an archaeological excavation site in southern Russia where he explored an ancient Greek settlement now submerged underwater.

While scuba diving at the Taman Bay site, Putin apparently discovered two 6th-century vase-like vessels – “to everyone’s utter surprise”, according to Russia Today:

The archaeological site visit is just the latest of Putin’s recent public appearances:
