Funeral for Vincent Ryan to take place next week

Gardaí are also appealing for information about the whereabouts of a car used in the shooting.

THE FUNERAL OF Vincent Ryan will take place next Tuesday.

He was shot dead while in a car outside his partner’s house on McKee Road in Finglas on Monday.

His body will be reposing at his family home in Donaghmede on Monday evening.

The funeral will take place the following morning at 9.50am in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Donaghmede.

He will then be buried in Fingal Cemetery.

Vinnie Ryan – whose brother Alan Ryan was a prominent member of the Real IRA and murdered in 2012 – is survived by his daughter Phoenix and partner Kelly.

Gardaí have this evening made a further appeal for anyone who might have seen a vehicle involved in the shooting.

A VW Golf with the registration 07-KE-10213 was spotted at the scene. 

Anyone who might have seen the car between 13 OCtober last year and 29 February is being asked to come forward.

The car was taken during a burglary at Cluaindara, Derrinstown, Kildare on 13 October and was found burnt out at Red Lane, Newhall, Naas, Kildare on 29 February, the day of the attack.
