Open thread: What's your one piece of advice for making life a touch easier?

Everyone has one – it’s time to share it.

EVERYONE, NO MATTER who they are, could do with their life being a little bit easier.

No matter how good we have it, our day-to-day business being a little easier, a little faster and a little more straightforward would only be a positive thing.

Thankfully, there are lots of ways to make our everyday lives a lot simpler.

Fail to prepare…

A large part of making life easier is preparing for what’s ahead. Make and pack your lunch the night before work when you have a little free time before bed rather than rushing around like a headless chicken in the morning before work.

Pop your keys in next day’s shoes

Forgetful person? Always leaving the house without your keys? To save yourself some hassle, pop your keys (or wallet, or whatever you’re having yourself) in your shoes when you come in the door. An easy reminder.

No more screens

Buy yourself an alarm clock and leave your phone in a dresser by your bed. Staring at a bright screen before sleep means you won’t feel as tired as your body might actually be. Try it for a few nights and you’ll see a big difference.

Colour code keys

If you find yourself fumbling around at doors with your a massive key-ring jumbled together in your fist on a regular basis, then this tip is for you. Colour code your keys – you can do this in a key-cutters, or just nail varnish at home.
