Woman charged over death of 84-year-old man last summer

Walter Plunkett was found dead in the front garden of his Enniscorthy home in August. A post-mortem found that he had died from asphyxiation.

A 51-YEAR-OLD WOMAN has been charged in connection with the death of an 84-year-old man in Wexford last summer.

The body of Walter Plunkett was discovered in the front garden of his home in Enniscorthy on 19 August.  A post-mortem found that he had died due to asphyxiation.

The woman is due to appear before Gorey District Court this morning.
