Poll: Will you be paying your water bill?

A new poll says 80% of people will.

THE CONTROVERSY OVER water charges has rumbled on for two years now.

And, with that passing of time has come a resignation to paying by some people. An Ipsos/MRBI poll in today’s Irish Times suggests that 80% of people will pay up.

But is that right? Is the resistance to charges now down to a vocal minority or will people dig in until Irish Water is abolished?

We’re asking: Will you be paying your water bill?

Poll Results:

No - never (9182)
Yes (2900)
I already paid (2626)
I'll hold out a little longer (2342)
I don't know (432)
