Met Éireann is warning that there may be some flooding today

It’s going to be windy and wet. For a change.

THE WEATHER CONTINUES to be windy and wet today, with Met Éireann warning that there may be some flooding.

The forecast predicts heavy showers today over parts of Ulster and Connacht with “a risk of local flooding”. However, it will be dry over many parts of Leinster and Munster with “just scattered showers”.

It will be windy this morning with gale-force gusts, but the winds will gradually ease during the day.

The highest temperatures will be between 14 and 17 degrees.

Tonight will be breezy with clear spells, with scattered, passing showers.

The wind and rain will continue tomorrow, with high winds forecast.
