Wrap up warm, tonight will be freezing

Tomorrow will be cold, too.

TEMPERATURES WILL DIP below freezing tonight, though tomorrow will be relatively mild.

Met Éireann says that tonight will be “mostly dry apart from outbreaks of rain over the southwest and just the odd shower in the north”.

They add that it will be cloudy in many places, but some areas will see clearer, colder weather.

“Some clear spells will develop [with] lowest temperatures falling to between -1 and +3 degrees with some frost.

“East to southeast breezes will remain light to moderate, but fresh near south and southeast coasts.”

However, if you’re out and about tomorrow, it will be slightly warmer.

“Sunday will be mostly dry with some sunny spells and just some spots of rain or drizzle over the southwest. Staying cold with top temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees but 9 or 10 degrees near south and southeast coasts.”

Into this week, temperatures will hit the low teens, but Tuesday and Wednesday will see persistent rain.

Met Éireann says the weather will be “mild and unsettled”.
