Don't be fooled by this morning's grey sky - it's going to get really sunny soon

It’s not great news for Munster though, where heavy showers are expected to break out later today.

While tonight will be mostly dry with some patchy mist and fog.

Tomorrow will start bright and sunny but rain will develop and spread through the morning. The rain will then turn more showery during the afternoon with winds.

” Bad forecasting” , not “bad news ” for Munster. “Totally tropic” here in Cork once grey skies cleared around noon. Cool East wind , but lots of blue sky, and roasting in the shade. We’re no pity!
