Met Éireann's latest rainfall radar Met Éireann

It's beginning to feel a lot like spring as weather finally gets milder

A bit of good weather news at last.

AFTER DAYS OF what felt like Arctic cold (but where temperatures weren’t necessarily that low), we’re on track for a milder few days.

The latest weather forecast from Met Éireann says that most areas will be fully dry today, with eastern counties the brightest.

We can expect a “spot of light rain or drizzle” later, especially across Atlantic counties. It will be milder than it has been lately, with highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees.

Tonight, there may be some frost, mist and fog, with some outbreaks of rain across the north and west, says Met Éireann.

Tomorrow, we’re told it will be generally dull with some outbreaks of rain, and highest temperatures reaching nine to 12 degrees. Expect a lot of dry weather over the weekend, though temperatures won’t be much higher – they could reach 10 to 13 degrees.
