Witnesses sought in relation to shooting incident in West Belfast

A man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot in the Beechview Park area at approximately 7.35pm this evening.

DETECTIVES IN WEST Belfast are appealing for information following a shooting incident that occurred earlier this evening.

A man, believed to be in his 20s, was shot in the Beechview Park area at approximately 7.35pm. He has been taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Department in Grosvenor Road Police Station on 0044 0845 600 8000.
