Where’s your Spiked Pentakis Dodecahedron?

Don’t let those dreaded words reach you this Christmas – we show you how to decorate with style.

IT’S CHRISTMAS EVE. Time to sit down with a hot drink and doze in front of the fire…

But if that Christmas feeling hasn’t quite kicked in yet (blame the frantic last minute shopping dash) don’t worry; nothing will give you a seasonal kick as some serious decorations.

Everyone can pull a Christmas MacGyver – all you need is sellotape and a little imagination (…and TheJournal’s top tips, of course).

The Tree

Ok. It’s not a towering, lush Scandinavian fir – but depending on the size of paper you use it will much more of a talking point for your guests and it’s much easier to get rid of in January. Just don’t use fairy lights…

The Spiked Pentakis Dodecahedron

Nothing says Christmas like a spiked pentakis dodecahedron… although we prefer to call it a Christmas star. (Try this with shiny paper for extra glitz).

The Teddy

It’s not the cuddliest, but it’s still cute.

Santa

Easy-peasy Santa Claus. Good for last minute brownie points from the man in the sleigh.
