Ned O'Keeffe, left, and Martin Mansergh

Which would you choose: a son of the soil or an "intellectual"?

Which would you prefer to see represent you in the 31 Dáil?

RETIRING FF POLITICIAN NED O’KEEFFE claimed yesterday that there were “too many intellectuals” in the 30th Dáil and a shortage of businessmen.

He also recently claimed that a military coup was possible in Ireland because of the country’s economic problems.

O’Keeffe said that if the financial crisis continues, “someone will have to run the country”.

So, if you had to choose one, which would you prefer to see sitting in the next Dáil: a son of the soil like Ned O’Keeffe or an “intellectual” like Oxford-educated Martin Mansergh?
