Here's the average price of a home in Whitehall and Beaumont in 2018

The latest data from Daft.ie.

THE AVERAGE ASKING price across Beaumont and Whitehall is between €350k and €370k, according to figures from Daft.ie. 

Analysis across all properties advertised for sale in the area between April and June 2018 puts the average list price in Whitehall at €367,684. This drops only slightly to €352,438 in Beaumont – suggesting that prices are fairly consistent across the two suburbs.

However, prices in Whitehall have been rising significantly faster in recent years. Since reaching a low point of €205,444 during the boom, the average has risen by 79 per cent. The equivalent growth in Beaumont is 58 per cent, against a lowest point of €222,546.

In both areas, current prices are significantly lower than those just a short way closer into town. The average asking prices in Drumcondra and Fairview/Marino are €440k and €438k respectively. 

Santry, just to the north-west, is cheaper again with an average asking price of €293k.
