There's now an app to see who deleted you on Facebook

This could end badly…

IF YOU’RE THE kind of person who stresses about whether or not someone is friends with you on Facebook, we’ve some bad news / good news (delete as appropriate).

New application Who Deleted Me is available on iOS and Android and claims to be able to identify people on Facebook who have recently defriended you.

Apparently it works by telling you what friends have disappeared from your list, and whether or not they’ve left Facebook completely or if they have just decided that you’re surplus to requirements. The meanies.

who deleted me iTunes app store iTunes app store

Scary stuff anyway, although it won’t show you friends who’ve deleted you historically – just those who do so after you install the app.

The application was previously available as an app within Facebook itself, but had to go offline after Facebook changed its policies according to thenextweb.com.

TheJournal.ie would love to tell you how well it works (and cry bitter, salty tears over the people who’ve gotten rid of us) but, unfortunately, we can’t get the application to work.
