Why is Ireland so good at doing business?

Corporate taxes is one reason, according to snazzy new infograph. But ‘favourable demographics’ is another.

IRELAND IS ONE of the best places in the world to do business, says the IDA.

Well, of course they would say that. Their job is to attract foreign direct investment into the country.

But the reason why over 1000 overseas companies have chosen Ireland as ‘their strategic location in Europe’ is laid bare in the following infographic, which they have just released.

According to the IDA,  Ireland is

  1. 1st in the Eurozone for ease of doing business
  2. 1st for Corporate Taxes
  3. 1st for people’s flexibiltiy and adaptability

In fact, the IDA says that Dublin is ranked as the best city in the world for what it calls ‘human capital’.
