Motorcyclist (50s) dies following crash in Co Wicklow

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

A MAN IN his 50s has died following a fatal crash in Co Wicklow.

At approximately 12.30pm, Gardaí and emergency services were alerted to an incident involving a motorcycle at Turlough Hill, Co Wicklow.

The motorcyclist, a male in his 50s, was fatally injured.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following the fatal road traffic collision this afternoon.

The road was closed to facilitate an examination by Garda forensic collision investigators but has since reopened. The local coroner has been notified, and arrangements will be made for a post-mortem examination.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward.

Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling in the area at the time are asked to make this footage available to investigating Gardaí.
