Gardaí catch teen with stolen jewellery and jar of coins

The teenage boy was arrested after he failed to stop his car for gardaí. in Wicklow.

GARDAÍ IN WICKLOW have arrested a teenager and recovered an assortment of suspected stolen jewellery.

Gardaí from Wicklow station attempted to stop a car and a chase ensued. The car was intercepted in Wicklow town and abandoned by the three males inside.

One of the males, a teenage boy, was arrested. The other two males managed to get away. Gardaí seized the car and recovered the jewellery and a large jar of coins during follow-up searches.

Gardaí said the recovery of these items was part of Operation Thor, which focuses on reducing burglary incidents. They have shared a number of images of the items recovered.
