WIN: Tickets to an ABSOLUT Fringe show tomorrow

Win a pair of tickets to a hot Fringe show – and then tell us what you think of it for our readers’ review series.

WE ARE PROUD ONLINE media partners of ABSOLUT Fringe 2012 – and we want our readers to get a slice of the action.

Every day for the duration of the Fringe, TheJournal.ie will have pairs of tickets up for grabs to shows – some of which are already sold out.

We’ll be asking each winner to tell us what they thought of the show and have their remarks printed in TheJournal.ie’s Nutshell Reviews series.

This evening, we have gotten our hands on an extra set of tickets for DOGS, the brilliant new dance show from Emma Martin.

Martin created the award-winning Listowel Syndrome in 2010, a “dark tale of small-town solidarity”, inspired by an incident at Tralee Circuit Criminal Court in which a number of men lined up to shake the hand of a convicted sex attacker.

DOGS looks to be a slightly more joyful offering – and is “hotly anticipated” according to ABSOLUT Fringe director Róise Goan.

HOW DO I WIN?

DOGS is at the Project Arts Centre (upstairs) at 6pm tomorrow, TUESDAY, 11 September.

To be in with a chance to win a pair of tickets to see it, email competitions@thejournal.ie and mark your subject entry, ‘DOGS’.

You must:

  • Include your name and contact number
  • Be available to email us your review on the show (150 words or less) the following morning

And that’s it!

Competition winners will be notified by TheJournal.ie first thing tomorrow morning.
