A wind warning is in place for nine counties this bank holiday Monday

Winds along the coast will will reach up to 65 km/h with gusts of up to 110 km/h.

MET EIREANN HAS issued a status yellow wind warning for tomorrow.

The warning is in place for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick.

It will be in place from 9am tomorrow morning until 9pm tomorrow night.

Met Éireann says very strong southerly winds will develop and that gusts along the west coast will reach 110 km/h.
